Day 1 Arrival Xian---Fufeng (D) Arrive in Xian, your local guide will pick you up at the airport and then drive to Fufeng, about one and a half hours. Hotel: Guanzhong Fengqing Yard or similar (courtyard) Day 2 Fufeng---Baoji (BLD) After breakfast, you’ll visit the Buddhist Shrine---the Buddha House. There you can appreciate the gold and silver treasuries dedicated to Sheli, Buddha’s true body, as well as lots of treasuries unearthed from the underground palace. Later, you’ll have a tour around the Zhougong Temple, a very famous scenic attraction. In the afternoon, you’ll take a bus to Baoji and visit the famous Bronze Museum there. Hotel: Guanzhong Fengqing Yard or similar 3* Day 3 Baoji---Tianshui (BLD) After breakfast, you’ll come to the old Qing Zhou—Tianshui, and visit the Fuxi Temple. Fuxi was the first King of the three kings and five emperors. Then you’ll have a tour around Yuquanguan, the most famous scenic spot in Longnan. After lunch, you’ll have a feast on your eyes of the Maijishan Grottos, which is known as one of the four biggest Chinese grottos in the Oriental Sculpture Gallery. Hotel: Sunshine Hotel or similar 4* Day 4 Tianshui---Longxi (BLD) After breakfast, you’ll visit the national cultural heritage sites, which includes the Grotto of Mount Elephant, the Grotto of Mount Wu, Shuiliandong, Baling Bridge and Lijiaci of Longxi. Stay at Longxi for 1 night. Day 5 Longxi---Lanzhou (BLD) You’ll take the cruise to the Grottos of Bingling Temple along the Yellow River and the Liujiaxia Reservoir. Later, you’ll take a bus to Lanzhou and visit the Iron Bridge of the Yellow River and Mount Baita. Stay at Lanzhou for 1 night. Day 6 Lanzhou---Zhongwei---Yinchuan (BLD)After breakfast, you’ll take the bus to Zhongwei and appreciate the beautiful scenery of Shapotou, sand rivers depending on each other and connected with each other. There you’ll also visit the Tengger Desert. Later, you’ll come to visit Gaomiao and then take a bus to Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia province. Stay at Yinchuan for 2 night. Day 7 Yinchuan (BLD) After lunch, you’ll visit the Mausoleum of the Xixia Dynasty and the Museum of the Xixia Dynasty. There you’ll learn about the Xixia Kingdom, which made great achievements and created splendid culture. Later, you’ll also visit the Double Pagoda of Baisikou of Xixia, the Cliff Painting of Mount Helan, which belongs to the Yuan Dynasty, and the Great wall Relics of Sanguankou, which belongs to the Ming Dynasty. Finally, you will return to Yinchuan to visit the Ninxia Museum and the Chengtiansi Pagoda of Yinchuan, also called the Western Pagoda. Day 8 Yinchuan---Guyuan (BLD) After breakfast, you will take the bus to visit the one hundred and eighth Pagoda of Qingtongxia, which belongs to the Yuan Dynasty and now is the largest old La Mata Group. There you will learn about various Rock Carving Art of the Buddhism, from the mid Northern Dynasties to the Sui and Tang Dynasties. Later, you will also visit the Great Wall Relics of Qin, during the Zhanguo period, and the Grottos of the Mount Xumi, from the Northern Dynasties to the Tang Dynasty. After lunch, you’ll take a bus to Tongxing and visit the Great Mosque of Tongxing, which belongs to Qing Dynasty. Stay at Guyuan for 1 night. Day 9 Guyuan---Xi’an (BLD) After breakfast, you’ll visit the Great Buddha of Bin Xian, in Guyuan, which is the largest and the most exquisite cavern existing now and dates back to the Tangtaizong Period. Then in the afternoon, drive back to Xian and the rest day is free for you to explore the city. Day 10 Depart Xi’an (B) After breakfast, we’ll visit the Han Yangling Museum, which is the largest museum in China. Then transfer to the airport and your fascinating journey ends as you board your flight to your next stop. |
