summer resort area of the royal family. Welcome Peking Duck Dinner in the evening. Day 3 Beijing –Xian (BLD) Full day excursion to the Badaling Great Wall - the landmark of China. It is one of the most amazing feats of human labour - the only man-made construction on earth visible from outer space. After lunch, a drive to the Ming Tombs along the Sacred Way with giant marble figures and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased emperors of the Ming Dynasty. Take an overnight train to Xian. Day 4 Xian (LD) Arrive in Xian in the morning, the great ancient capital and the eastern end of the Silk Road. City tour begins with visit to Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in 652 A.D. It contains a large volume of Buddhist scriptures which were obtained from India by the eminent monk of Xuanzang, and Shaanxi History Museum, which is one of the best museums in China. Among the 400,000 items on display are treasures from many of the Dynasties, including some magnificent bronzes and porcelain, many of which have never been on permanent display before. Day 5 Xian (BLD) Full day excursion to the unparalleled highlight Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses at the Tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor in China. Day 6 Xian – Lhasa (BLD) Take morning flight to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, our tour guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Day 7 Lhasa (BLD) After breakfast, visit Potala Palace-the cardinal landmark of Lhasa, famous for its magnificent construction, complex structure, delicate artworks and pious atmosphere. architectural techniques. Pilgrims come here to worship regularly. Afterwards, you will visit Barkhor Street, which is the oldest street in Lhasa, is a good place for shopping in Lhasa. Here you can also see pilgrims wearing local dress from many different parts of Tibet. Day 8 Lhasa (BLD) You will visit Sera Monastery, one of the greatest monasteries of Tibet. In Sera Monastery, the Buddhism Scriptures Debating is very famous, and it is held every afternoon. The Norbulingka, meaning Treasure Park in Tibetan, covers an area of around 360000 square meters, is considered to be the biggest manufactured park in Tibet. Finally, you will visit Drepung Monastery, which is in the west of central Lhasa, was once considered as one of the largest monasteries. Day 9 Lhasa-Chengdu (BLD) Take a flight to Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province and a place known as "the Land of Abundance". City tour begins with Du Fus Thatched Cottage - home of a great poet of Tang Dynasty. Hotel: Garden City Hotel or similar (3*) Day 10 Chengdu –Leshan -Chengdu (BLD) After breakfast, drive to Leshan to see the 71-meter tall Leshan Giant Buddha, the biggest carvings in the world, en route, visit Dujiang Dam, a famous historical engineering marvel conceived and designed in 250 B.C. as a mammoth irrigation project. After that, drive back to Chengdu. Day 11 Chengdu -Chongqing (BLD) After breakfast, take motor train unit to Chongqing, and half day tour to Chongqing Grand Hall, Eling Park, board your deluxe Yangtze River cruise after dinner. Cruise: President 4-Yangtze (4*) Day 12 Yangtze River Cruise (BLD) Morning shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City. Fengdu is where the devil lives, according to Chinese legend. They say that spirits go to heaven, and evil goes to Fengdu. The town is overlooked by Ming Shan Hill, home of Tianzi, the King of the Dead. Day 13 Yangtze River Cruise (BLD) Passing Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge in the morning, then shore excursion to Shennong Stream or Little Three Gorges, in the afternoon passing the Xiling Gorge and Three Gorges Dam 5-stage ship lock. Day 14 Yichang – Shanghai (BLD) Visit the Three Gorges Dam Project, the largest hydro-electric project in the world at present scale, arrive Yichang at noon. And then fly to Shanghai. Your local guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel for check in. Hotel: Yuandong Hotel or similar (3*) Day 15 Shanghai (BLD) Today, you will visit Jade Buddha Temple, where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha are treasured, the fascinating Yuyuan Garden, a stroll along the lively waterfront "The Bund", and Nanjing Road, one of the most famous shopping streets in the World. Enjoy an amazing Acrobatic Show in the evening. Day 16 Shanghai –Guilin (BLD) No escorted tour is scheduled in the morning and you can explore the city on your own. Take an afternoon flight to Guilin, your local guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to your 3-star hotel for check in. Hotel: Hotel Universal Guilin or similar (3*) Day 17 Guilin –Yangshuo (BLD) Enjoy a morning cruise down the winding Li River to Yangshuo, viewing the spectacular scenery as it reflects in the crystalline water. You can explore Yangshuo, a small town with many stalls selling traditional Chinese arts and crafts articles. If Yangshuo is an essential representative of the charming Guilin, the West Street can be regarded as the beating heart of Yangshuo which always plays as the tourist center. Hotel: Yangshuo New Century Hotel or similar (4*) Day 18 Yangshuo - Guilin – Hong Kong (BL) After breakfast, we suggest you can have a brief country-road tour by bicycle or take electric car to visit the local family which will be somewhere along the road. After lunch, drive back to Gulin. The Guilin tour continues with visits to the most famous Reed Flute Cave, and explores the city on your own. After that, take flight to Hong Kong, and your local guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to your 4-star hotel for check in.
