Day 1 Lhasa (D)
Arrive in Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, our tour guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2 Lhasa (BLD)
After breakfast, visit Potala Palace-the cardinal landmark of Lhasa, famous for its magnificent construction, complex structure, delicate artworks and pious atmosphere. It is awe-inspiring and you will be enchanted as you visit the rooms, halls and chapels of the palace. After Lunch, you will visit the Jokhang Temple, which is a typical Tibetan Buddhist Temple with Han, Tibetan and Nepalese architectural techniques. Pilgrims come here to worship regularly. Afterwards, you will visit Barkhor Street, which is the oldest street in Lhasa, is a good place for shopping in Lhasa. Here you can also see pilgrims wearing local dress from many different parts of Tibet.
Day 3 Lhasa (BLD)
You will visit Sera Monastery, one of the greatest monasteries of Tibet. In Sera Monastery, the Buddhism Scriptures Debating is very famous, and it is held every afternoon. The Norbulingka, meaning Treasure Park in Tibetan, covers an area of around 360000 square meters, is considered to be the biggest manufactured park in Tibet. Finally, you will visit Drepung Monastery, which is in the west of central Lhasa, was once considered as one of the largest monasteries.
Day 4 Lhasa –Gyantse (BLD)
After breakfast, drive to Gyantse. You will stop off at the magnificent Yamdrok Yumtso Lake on the way to Gyantse. Arrive in Gyantse, You will visit the Palkhor Monastery, which is situated west of Gyantse Town with mountains enclosing it on the east, west and north sides, is famous for its murals.
Day 5 Gyantse-Shigatse (BLD)
After breakfast, drive to Shigatse, which is the second largest city in Tibet. It is also the home of the Banchen Lama. After Lunch, you will visit Tashilumpo Monastery, which cover an area of approximately 300,000 square meters. There are many priceless and rare historical articles in the monastery.
Day 6 Shigatse-Lhasa (BLD)
Drive back to Lhasa via Yampachen, where you can enjoy the grassland view and hot spring.
Day 7 Lhasa (B)
After breakfast, go to the airport and take your selected flight back home.
